An Audi quattro 20V would have cost £32995 when first introduced in October 1989.
A lot back then (A lot now!)

I do have the original sale reciept for my 1986 UR somewhere... with extras it was £32k mark. Will have to try digging it out.

Just went through my paper work to find the cost of me 90 and you beat me to it! Spot on though - £27k!!!

I just got rid of my Audi A8 V8 TDi, that with it's options in 2005 was £78,000 but with 165k on it it left me for less than £10k!!! Obviously I didn't have it from new!!!!!!!! - I wish I had that much money to waste!

2005 with 165k miles, that has been a busy car! I love the A8s though, a lot of car for the money. I sadly wrote my dad's A8 Sport off this time last year. He paid £2700 for it, had 2 years troublefree motoring until I wrote it off, then got paid out £2700 for it. That A8 cost £50k new in 96. I love depreciation.
