Default That Spade Incident

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...ester-38148811

Not that I am condoning this behaviour in any way but I am wondering who the original aggressor was in this fracas. I have experienced some pretty bad driving from many a lorry driver. And its interesting that the two blokes in the lorry go bounding along together to the single man in the van.

Maybe they got what was coming to them?

Would be interesting to know the full story.

One thing for sure the guy is getting annihilated in the press.

I work with a few from Eccles.

I don't think there is any excuse for his action/reaction. Simply not acceptable to do that sort of thing.

Frightening to think that there are nutters like this out there.

I don't know. My younger brother is a truck driver, and I'm still surprised that he hasn't ended up buried in a shallow grave or ditch someplace because of his attitude.
I even have a spare shovel/spade in case there is a sudden shortage

The clip in question is quite damning. I too wonder what the full story is, given the number of edits in the sequence...

What got me was they seemingly cannot identify spade man despite the Police having apparently accurate ANPR information about the owner of the dropside lorry he was driving...?

If it was a speeding ticket the company would be obliged to identify the druver at the time or risk prosecution themselves??
