What kind of opinion would you like? last one of them I was in was bought for £400 in 1997, then de-polyfilla'd then sold for about the same.

Fordmania is about the most irrational behaviour pattern in the human genome. It's a tin can that looks like a banana!

I don't follow Ford prices but i always thought that was one ugly mut of a car and probably the worst colour.Sounds good though with it's Essex 3.0 V6. If it has to have be a early 70's Ford it would be a RS 2000 a much better looking car. If you asked me what would i spend £30,000 on and it had to be a Capri i would have 2 X 2.8 Brooklands Capris which to my mind is a handsome Ford worth getting excited about.

Then again you got to love the Mk5 2.0 Ghia Cortinas. Mine had a full Janspeed extractor system with electronic ignition, and uprated suspension which saw of a Mk3 2.8 capri with 4 fellas aboard waving around baseball bats while they are chasing me back in 1987. This was there idea of fun on a friday night out.

For me, Fords' have always been cheap for me to enjoy them properly......and this one isn't but I suppose that's appreciation for you?
Nice car though, but not for 30k.

Again agree with you John, but you gotta bear in mind that "all the plastic in the engine bay is standing to attention" and thats gotta be worth 5K just on its own.

Not my cuppa tea for sure, but then I was converted to VAG many years back and doubt I will ever leave the fold.

Having seen your Coupe John, I'd expect nothing less. Hope one day to see all your fleet "in the flesh" .

That's been for sale a while before they got it . Not overly fussed on the Capri as they handled like a pig

it's probably got thrity grand's worth of filler under that paint, ken!!

seriously, those old fords are commanding silly prices these days and while that's a nice museum piece, do you really want to cut about in something that couldn't pull the skin off of a rice pudding??

this is much more like it and you'd still have a few grand to get your professionals wardrobe in order too!!
