Find the right pipe and suck it!(somehow) Presuming the pump isn't in the boot.. Never done it but that's what I'd try before breaking anything.

You should be able to open the drivers door independently with key JMLAudi..
then open all other doors via pully-up thingies. For boot, well if you can get in and fold the rear seats down, there should be a boot release lever behind the carpet; not sure where it is on B3 but for B4 it's tucked up high over the wheel arch area on OSR side. The CL pump is on the same side but nearer to the bumper. Not sure how you'd open the fuel filler door mind, or how to get in if you've lost all keys. ![]() |

If only it were as simple as folding the rear seats, on the B3 saloon its a fixed backrest with a metal bulkhead behind and the ruddy fuel tank behind that...!!
Do you have any other keys to try? If you are really lucky with some wiggling one may work the lock. Guessing the lock was left in the vertical position so it doesnt respond to the central locking? It may be a case of sacrificing the lamp with the lock in and working the rods manually. Or a locksmith. You can see into the boot if you remove the back seat backrest, to the left and right there are apertures, it would be extremely fiddly trying to work a rod or something through those holes across to the back of the lock, especially if you have the covers / carpet panel over the rear of the lamps. Could be possible if you have ninja skills maybe. In the past i have knocked a bung out of the floor and managed to retrieve a key that was actually inside the boot, it was a fwd car without a boot carpet fortunately, not much help to you. Cant think of any way to do it bar the obvious... Last edited by Mellis46; 08-04-16 at 06:16 PM. |

It works with a pull/push of air yes, but given the question I am assuming the lock has been left in the vertical position where it doesnt respond to the central locking meaning the key is required - if it was horizontal it would open / lock with the doors and there wouldnt be an issue...
Tennis Ball Method - havent heard that in years, worked on 80s Fords if you believe urban legend??! ![]() Last edited by Mellis46; 08-04-16 at 06:26 PM. |

Sh*t. Could try going in through the indicator lens? Youd be working blind and need skinny arms...
What about a mobile locksmith? They would "feel" the inside of the lock and cut u a key |

Thanks for reply Mellis46...
jeez, Audi never make things easy to sort out on their cars do they? ![]() [EDIT] have no idea if tennis ball method would work or not (someone told me about it when I was having problems with my CL pump), was just putting the suggestion forward that's all cuz I'm sure John would appreciate any help/suggestions that he can get right now. ![]() I really don't know what else to suggest John... but I do feel for you, really I do! Hope you can get it sorted soon buddy. ![]() Last edited by leggy; 08-04-16 at 06:46 PM. |
