Audi a6 C4 2.5tdi

The eternal question does anyone know of a good C4 2.5tdi avant for sale ? The only one I have found is the blue 6 speed in Wales.

Hi there there,s one on carandclassic.co.uk it looks not to bad, but its a cat-c- registered, and has a short m.o.t and it needs work done aswell. The guy seamed ok on the phone but he was still looking for £1500 + and he wasn,t really for budging either. Don,t know if it helps. Regards paul

Oh theres one on the gumtree a silver one looked ok . The downside its in ireland, if thats a down side..hope this helps

Yes I saw that one on Carland classic is it not as great as he makes out ? I was tempted to have a look

Hi there yeah I made him an offer what I thought was decent enough. But the answer was simply no . But never mind something will turn up.

I have just moved on to a C6 and looking to sell my C4 Avant.
97 on a P, SE with an AAT and 5 spd in Black with cloth.
~210k
ALL belts at 190 K plus sump drop and inspection.
Oil and coolant swap 208K.
Vag com check on injector balance after rebuild no issues.
New front shocks at 190K.
All discs and pads replaced ~ 180K along with 2 rear callipers and fluid change.
Air con has no gas but I can demonstrate the fact it works (vag com out put test) and show you why it lost the gas.
4 Continentals on 16" competitions.
Has a removable tow bar in place but I have never used it as the electrics are not in place and I just used the G wagen for towing.
Alpine Bluetooth stereo.

I am currently tidying up 2 years ( ~70K) of cleaning neglect as I keep on top of the mechanicals, the rest I let it get a little bit dirty, so will get pictures when it looks ok.
Will come with 12 months MOT.
Based in Oxford and is still taxed and insured so can be test driven with out fear.

I know a few people on here and have a reasonable amount of knowledge on these cars please feel free to look on audifans under "gib".
