Default Headlining

I'm posting this picture rather ashamedly as it really is a quick fix to a problem that needs to be sorted properly , but for the time being it is going to have to wait.

Reason for quick fix is I don't like driving around with the notion that the headlining is going to envelop me at any time. Also it really doesn't look too good and spoils the cars classy looks ( who am I kidding? )

So far so good, just need it to work for a few months until I get more important things sorted

...and just to celebrate a few things getting done over the past few days ( my wife got the vanity mirror light working today, well she would wouldn't she? ) and the fixing of the door handle, I gave Melinda a very good wash and polish and she came up a treat!!

Default Melinda?

Yes, I think she (Melinda ) is moving up the scale from being "a complete waste of time" to something that she ( Head Office ) can vaguely relate to.... unfortunately she only drives Automatics....only started driving 2 years ago and finds coping with the Automatic quite enough to contend with. I think if she could drive the Coupe herself , things could be quite different.

I'll wait and see how you get on and then maybe .....but we already have her Polo, plus a 1985 CQ in my neighbours garage, and an Octavia VRS Estate.....

my friends here in the village keep accusing me of being the local Arthur Daley !

Frank I think you have bought a very nice example its looks great in the photo's and the issues you have identified are all sortable (if that is a word lol) with time and dedication that us Classic Audi types tend to devote our passion.

Help is always at hand, look at the help Ben gave with the door lock problem, he is a great member and has helped me a lot in the past.

I also think the fact that the wife can't drive it is an advantage, just don't tell my wife I said that lol
