Default rear shock absorbers?

Can anyone help ??

I've seen these on evil bay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

MK3 golf /jetta rear coilovers

And was wondering whether they will fit on my B2 audi coupe gt. They look like they should fit ?

My main concerns are the length and fixings ?

Anyone ever tried fitting different model dampers????

Bumping this thread instead of putting up a new thread

fact: B2 and B3 standard rear shocks are identical
So i'm having custom springs made with a considerable drop and i would like to purchase Koni or Bilstein shocks, but for the rear i'm kinda stuck with both brands because:

in Koni's case the only available option for the rear is the 80-2625Sport. This type is only visible with the B3 89 incl 2.0E 16V.
>> Would there be a specific reason why this would not fit a B3 89 excl 2.0E 16V (and consequently a B2)

in Bilstein's case the same shocks wil fit the B2, the B3 and the Coupe - doesn't matter which engine
