Curious to know what the different spec of the turbos that where fitted to the WR and MB/RR quattros as the model evolved?
How did this turbo differ from the ones fitted to the 200 quattros 10v and 20 v ? |

I'm wondering what's the reason why RR turbo has different part number than rest of 20vt engines [apart from KW, of course]
![]() 3B, ABY, AAN - K24. KG and it's clones, 1B, 2B, MC1 - water cooled K26 MC2 - slightly different K24, AFAIK without vacuum outlet. |

Just to throw something different into the hat, how do you put a turbo onto a non turbo engine, i have read about this being done but i thought the compression ratios were different, so has it really been done, it will be obvious from this that i know very little about the subject
