Default Just found out some bad news

One of my mates went missing on 17th November, he has been suffering from depression.

Just got a phone call from another friend, apparently they (police) have found his car, by the Clifton suspension bridge in Bristol, and his laptop had suicide websites in the cache. And the police have a video clip of someone jumping from the bridge. His phone, wallet etc were left at his flat.

Not a good evening round here.

The river Avon goes into the Severn which has the 2nd biggest tidal range in the world I think.

Oh mate,not good to hear.

I suffer myself and it has been a close run thing between life and death for me some days.

I remember the last singer from the Manic Street Preachers chose that place to say goodbye.

Not every story has this unhappy ending though I think.

I hope he has found a happier place whichever way he has decided.

Yes, very sad - poor guy. It's hard to understand how someone can feel it would be better if they weren't living.

Steve, Amanda

My heart goes out to both of you. Hard news. I send all the goodness I can muster your way. Sometimes reaching out is the only saving grace.
