Snow Smoke to Murram

What the hell am I on about you may ask?

This was the title of a video available many years ago of the 1983 World Rally Championship set to music . Demon Tweeks among others used to list it up until the early '90s, it then seemed to vanish.

Does anyone remember it or have a copy even?

Hi Lefthooker!

I just came across your post about the Video "Snow smoke to Murram".. I know it's a bit old now but I wondered if you are still looking?! I was about to throw out my copy of it, along with a few others :-( .... not out of disloyalty I hasten to add but I no longer have a video, I am trying to clear some space and YouTube is great for the nostalgia!

If you wanted a copy you are welcome to mine, though I haven't played it in years so hope it still works!

I'll keep it for now!

Hi all

That's great! Enjoy!! I never tire of hearing those 5 cylinders thundering flat out (Could never get mine to sound like that!!)
In my turnout I also found:
The Audi Quattro Experience (PPVideo), Audi Quattro-the official story (Audi), quattro Racing in the USA (PPVideo) and The Greatest Years of Rallying 80's (BHP) ..... I know there's loads of stuff on YouTube but is there really no single definitive video history of the rallying quattros and nothing even on DVD??!!
Really sad :-((

Very little available on DVD Martin, although these are worthwhile if you can find them:

No commentary or music on either. Footage from them can be found on Youtube, but obviously, there's nothing like having your own copies to watch on a big screen with the sound cranked up!
