Default Early 200

Spotted on the driveway of a house i delivered to yesterday, an 82X 200 in metalic green with quad headlamps and a set of what look like ronal alloys. The interior looked ok and this was green also, as regards to the exterior i couldn't see the nearside but the front a rear looked ok and the only rust i could see was the bottom of the drivers door which isn't that bad at all, a couple of small scabs maybe a couple of inches long. The car has been stood around 4-5 years but apart from the moss collecting around the badges and trims you would think it was in daily use.
I had a quick chat with the lady who's drive it was on but all she could tell me was it was her next door neighbour's car and he didn't get home till 5.30 ish, if i get chance i'll call back over the weekend and see if i can talk to the owner and also try to get a couple of pictures.

Don't suppose whether you saw if it was a 5E or 5T did you?

I used to see it about a bit then didn't see it anymore, turns out the drive it is parked on is only a couple of estates away from me.

I didn't notice a badge on it but wasn't realy looking for one, i was more looking at the condition, it is an auto though, if that makes a difference between a 5E or a 5T.

Like i said, i am going to call back over the weekend if i get chance and have a chat with the owner and see if it's for sale.

I will keep you posted.

look forward to seeing the pics of it!

When you said moss collecting around the trims it reminded me of this one!

That's a classic ride - It's a shame that there are not too many of those around anymore!

It looks good on the outside, and on the inside as well, but underneath and mechanicly that could be a different story, i hope to have something positive to report back next week hopefully with pictures.

Yey another one!

First thing I thought of was I wonder if its not LOH 850X at a different location. Then I remembered Coxy saying it'd been crushed.Wanted that n all!

So IIRC the 5E and 5T canbe Auto or Manual,I think most Turbos were Auto too, oddly!Mind you,big car not uncommon with Auto Trans

it was more of a case of "it fell apart" than it got crushed.
Seem to remember Rob having an issue with half the front end falling off when pulling it onto the trailer!!! The tin worm on that one was more than terminal!
