I have a 90 quattro with a bit of a problem
its as lumpy as hell between 2500 and 3500 rpm I have changed vac pipes,ht leads,rotor arm spark plugs timed it up new filters oil fuel pump air the lot its as sweet as a nut on tick over and when you drive like a granddad but when you give it a bit its as if its missing ............. and its p#ssing me off now any ideas |

Since you tried everything else that I would have tried, what about the fuel pressure? I think ur fuel pump is on its way out. Or the filter is badly choked, but that's less likely on a petrol.
You need to get the fuel pressure checked, and fast before you burn a hole in a piston. |

You won't believe, but audi made two generations of A90q and at least dozen of different engines for them!
