Been around a while this one, looks stunning (KGF detailed and photographed - as per 4star classics).

Price has tumbled down since the original asking price of £5995. It's a shame it's an auto and not a quattro - I reckon it'd be gone by now otherwise!

It's on ebay now... but it doesn't have the original interior from what I can see... no half leather or even electric seats and the wrong style of squab. Those look like they're out of an Audi 100. For that price I'd expect it to be spot on, which it obviously isn't.

The interior is correct and original for an '89 Model Year 200 Turbo Auto. It was the 200 quattro that had the half leather electric memory sports seats. Full leather was an extra cost option on both models.

Yep, you're quite right, my brain inserted the word "quattro" into the ad for some reason... dunno, maybe I'm obsessed with finding another 1B Avant

Of particular interest to me this, from my VAG days

The original owner William Walker partnership were/are a firm of architects in Bradford who incidentally designed the Green Flag building where I worked for 20 years.

Father William had a sapphire C3 200 on a B plate and son Steven had a lago B3 1.8S. I used to love collecting the 200 for servicing from time to time, Mr Walker also had a Peugeot 504 cabrio tucked away in his garage. Before I left Massingberds Mr Walker wanted a new 200 which we couldnt source and he bought one from Lynx another 200T in a silver gold colour I forget the name with the teardrop dash etc on a F plate, but I never knew about this black one.
