.. just been 'officially' released at the Detroit motor show. Now I know it's a 'new' Audi and so immediately rubbish to a lot of you but personally I think the A/S/RS7 drop dead gorgeous, one of the best looking vehicles on the road, helped by the homage to the 100 coupe at the rear.
http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/de...-show-audi-rs7 I drove the 245bhp 3.0 tdi at an Audi event a few months back and the car had a serious amount of poke as it was, let alone with 2.5x the amount of power on tap to blast around the Surrey countryside! As is the norm though I was struggling with feedback from the car, got a sort of numb feeling around corners. Weird that I was 99% certain the car would take the corner no problem but at the same time worried as fook as I wasn't 100% sure! Still, to blast along a straight road, to admire on the drive or to pootle to the shops I'd have one!

It's a scary thought isn't it, running a car like that out of warranty!!
Though I'm really tempted by an RS6 avant V8 twin turbo to go with the URq but in reality I'd know it would be instead of!

I just don't like the arse end of the new A7. Just looks like someone stopped for lunch and never went back to finish the job off.
Impressive specs, and as said, in 25 years time or so, when it's done 95% of it's depreciation and can be picked up for under a grand, it'll be a cool car to smoke around it! but, petrol will either be outlawed or run dry by the time that happens! |

Even if you're handy with the spanners, I think it's a scary thought running any newer car out of warranty
