Light weight panels?

Are there any companies which produce fibre-glass..etc panels, boot, bonnet for a Type 81 B2 quattro?

you can get Kevlar panels for the ur quattro but have found the square root of zero for standard Type 81/85 panels.
unless anyone else knows different??????????

would a UR/WR...etc quattro sport bonnet fit my type 81?

i really want to get some sort of vented item if i'm going to use throttle bodies, to avoid heat soak.

Well no and yes really....

No, in that a sport bonnet carries a curved front lip, which really needs the sport radiator grille and lamps to match...

However, there are people who make a recreation sport bonnet to fit a standard car...

There are several people on here with experience of them... So I'll leave them to comment.

Also think there's a firm in Liverpool that make them, but the name escapes me at the moment...

It's something like Rentec or similar...

If you are in no hurry, keep an eye on e-bay as they do crop up now and then.
