Low Mileage 1993 Audi Cabriolet

Hello, I am selling my 1993 Audi 80 Cabriolet, it has the 2.3 litre engine and it has only covered 66,000 miles from new

The car has MOT until 22 March 2013 and Tax until the end of September 2012

It is Green in colour and it has Cream leather upholstery.The car has only had 3 owners and is in very good condition

It also has 17" multispoke alloy wheels with a dark chrome coating- these are in good condition overall, although one has more kerb damage than the others....The tyres all have decent tread on them

The bodywork is generally very good- the paint is all original and tidy, the panels (with the exception of a couple of very minor dings) are dent free and the panel gaps are good. Obviously with a car of this age the body does have a few very minor marks, although you have to look quite closely to see them!

Inside the car is a very pleasant place to be- the cream leather seats are very nice and have held up well, although the drivers seat has a few cracks and some wear to the foam on the base (the leather has not broken through, it is just the foam underneath). Also, the passenger front seat does not tilt as the cable has stretched. I have just replaced the gearstick gaiter. The steering wheel is in good condition.

Mechanically, the car is great- the 2.3 engine is silky smooth and makes a great noise! It is also the best compromise between power and economy with 35mpg being easily acheivable with a good turn of speed should you need it..... The gearbox selects easily and smoothly and has no issues. The rear silencer has recently been replaced and the cambelt has also been changed recently for extra peace of mind!

The Front suspension was showing its age as it was 18 years old, so it has recently been freshened up with 2 new wishbones, 2 new balljoints, 2 new ARB links and 2 new strut top mounts

The hood is very good and has done a great job of keeping the rain out during the drought! The rear window has no cracks or fogging at all which can be a common problem area for these cars

The car has been regularly serviced and has a large file of receipts although the book has not been regularly stamped, but it is clear that this is a well cared for car!
