Default Sour Krauts!

Has anyone ever had any issues with none communication with german ebayers? I recently placed bids on several items only for them to be sniped and re-listed without an explanation following several emails asking if i could bid on their items. Communications have been made in english from my end as i dont want to risk offending the native germans with dodgy translations....

Any explanations, tips on communicating with them?

cheers in advance

Mike

I use google translate

http://translate.google.com/#

Then send them the messg in both german & English to save misunderstanding, as the translator isn't perfect either

Haha good call! I recently bought a few parts off a guy in Berlin for a vw trekker through eBay and he seemed rather chuffed that was buying from England, used google translate too, seemed ok! Unless it translated something as a compliment, that's why he was chuffed!
