front suspension leg

HI,looking for a pair or one only front suspension legs { drivers side}for Audi quattro 200 turbo 1986 saloon type 44. my audi has been to vauxhall motors for a mot. where they failed it on a loose ball joint , so they decided to tighten it up and they have now broken the ball joint clamp in to pieces. they tried to secure this with a exhaust clamp??? but then they moved the car?? and the front wheel calapsed causing damage to front valance and wing. now have no car. bart.member.and i was looking forward to the show at castle coombe. Have you ever tried to get a suspension leg for a 22 year old audi q 200 turbo. i have better odds on buying a lotus cortina mk1 . i have been on ebay all day . with no luck. were if not for these people my audi would be of the road.bart. vauxhall motors daventry say they are not responcible? up to me to find the money for repair and labour cost. approx 50.00 p/h

If they did this without asking you first I would hold them liable for the repair.

first of all, give them chance to fix the damage and repair the car to the correct standard.

If you are not happy, get a second opinion from an expert. Most Audi garages will have a master technician who will be able to report as to whether the car is safe or not.

Most garages will do what they can to sort it out as bad reputation can cost a helluva lot more in the long run.

hi. drivers side front strut less shock and spring hub etc. only need the leg, ball joint clamp on mine has broke . pair if possible asuming they are the same as the 200 quattro turbo. price please . best regrds bart. 07813279618

I would also seek legal first. That is just not on. Then send them an invoice for every minute of your time spent on this. Then when you get nowhere with that take them through the small claims court.
