SteveT63, et al
I've noticed in recent times that some of 'your' (M6, at least) new cars are using extremely bright roof lights. Almost to the point of being dazzling, at night. It appears that the majority of drivers have minimal observational abilities, these days. But even Steve Wonder couldn't miss them. Has anyone commented?

Being dazzled at night by emergency vehicles shouldn't happen. There is a button on the switch console called "Low Power" trouble is, it's down to the persons inside the car to press it, gets forgotten alot. Gets on my nerves as well!!... Try following one 5 feet off it's back bumper at warp speed!!... Gentle reminders always a pleasure!!!....Turn yer f!*+g Blues down!!!! Normally works for me!
Hang out of the window and try it the next time one goes past!!! ![]()

You'll hardly be able to get that close to, oe keep up with anyone in 5 tonnes of Discovery, will you Steve???
I've a mental picture of you up my chuff, me in the WR1 and you behind with the roof lit up, struggling against weight and aerodynamics, whilst at the same time composing a General Report suggesting that the low-power switch should also have a high power setting, but for engine power.... As Clarkson would say, "the horror. The horror". |

Last week, at night, there was a large police 4x4 on the M6. He'd pulled someone over, and was parked rather diagonally on the hard shoulder, although difficult to tell, as the lights were so bright.
![]() I'll try the hanging out the window bit, next time. should I do the Gangsta hand gesture and add in a few mo-fo's, too?

2 rizlas spacing between each other, shrinking to one when tailgating a mini for maximum aerodynamic benefit. 5 tonnes of Disco? Jeez. What's the UK equivalent of dunkin'duffnuts, and do you stock up for a whole shift? *Is this something you think about, quite often?
