Makes me feel kinda bad for picking up a near mint one, with 12 months MOT and pretty much everything on it brand new for £300 then ripping it apart for an engine donor, could have made some good money on it had I just painted the 2 mismatched panels

What's the point of doing such a thing, unless you're from US or dragracer wishing to compete in 2.5l class?

I'm amazed nobody's clicked BIN on the ebay listing!

A lot of car for a very good price & if it's as good as the description & pics suggest, you can't go wrong!!

One of 7 fwd Sports currently taxed, according to howmanyleft.co.uk

Because it was by far the cheapest way to get the engine I wanted and I made good money back on it?

I did have a choice of 3 at the time from £250-500 in various conditions, I'm surprised the kind of money people are asking for these! Guess I just got lucky

I'm sure that howmanyleft website is utter crap, I don't believe for a second it's 1 of 16 in the country.

Audi 90s have always been worth peanuts for some reason. My mate's dad bought the ex NEC '88/ Audi UK Press car 90 quattro 'Sport Look' complete with all factory options (approx £6Ks worth on top of it's £20,500 price tag) at 18 months old and 8k miles for £13k. It just kept depreciating. It then sold to another mate for £3500 in early 1994 at just over five years old and 80k ish miles. Similar story with contempary 200s and V8s. Not a big market for them. Funnily enough, ur quattros were the same when nearly new. A three year old RR back in 1993 with 80k ish miles, full history was worth £12k tops.
