Yep and the fewest miles I've ever done in the Cq this year too which indicates how bad it's been, that and fuel prices have certainly 'dampened' my use of the red beast this year. Better clear up for October, I've a Lakes walking holiday booked.....

Thankfully, looks like the worst of the winds will pass us by - for a change! Since the great storm a few years back where we lost the front sunlounge clean off the front of our house (windspeeds were recorded in excess of 120 mph!) i have been dreading a repeat of those gales. I hope anyone in its path doesn't suffer any significant damage.

At Tockholes we've got 50/60mph winds, blustery showers so I think we'll get a but worse before it gets better.
