The S2 got sick, after a little bit of WOT recently...
It started 'rumbling' at mild throttle openings and and gave a metallic knocking at more aggressive throttle positions. It felt really nasty, sounded rough and generally gave the feeling of 'very expensive'... Anyway, went under the car last night and found one exhaust hanger (and they're odd on the S2's, they're like a 'U' shaped hanger with a rubber insert) had popped out... Struggled, but got in back in and put a Jubilee clip onto it to stop it popping out again... And incredibly, the car was straight back to normal... I can't believe one exhaust hanger off could make such a difference....
