I thought that it might be a CQ from the badges, but it looks like a type 81 GT from the bumpers and spoiler and its definately not quattro as the rear silencer is running front to back rather than across the back of the car. I think the badge probably says "injection" rather than quattro

Cq Back box can't fit front to back because of the rear subframe and drive shafts / diff it's the same as a turbo in that respect. GT has a beam axle no diff or drive shafts so you can run exhaust front to back.

As you can see in the picture of mine (genuine Audi exhaust)

All type 81/85 and later type 89 quattros had the transverse back box unless someone had a smaller-custom setup made.

Head rests look wrong for it to be an injection. Could be a cq. Knock on the door and ask if its for sale

Agree about head rests bit look at the rest of type 81 bits on it, bumpers, spoiler, narrow tyres for a cq and the exhaust make it more likely a GT. It could have had a later interior fitted as the early ones didn't last.

Pretty sure its not a cq as it has wrong bumper and wrong rear spoiler. My guess is a 1983/4 GT fuel injection.
