Default 90 Legs v Cq Legs

Fitted new suspension to the 90 and still not quite happy with the ride height on the front. It's a tad too low for my liking. I know the engine might weigh in heavier than the KV so that would have an effect. My question is, are the CQ front legs longer than a 90? Or am I imagining I've read it somewhere? I'm thinking if they are, they might do the trick and lift the nose up abit. Can't find anywhere that does uprated spring plus an inch, they all cater for lowering.

Failing that it's out with the Sachs and in with some Billys I think.

I have never heard anything about it.

I just know that the rear on a B2 80 Sport is 15mm (???) lower than standard.

How low is it now? I got 2 brand new 40 mm. lowering springs that should fit your car.

I've put S2 springs on it. It's level all round front and rear, 24 inches Tarmac to arch, but it nose dives quite alot under braking. Is there an updrated standard height or plus inch S2 spring on the market? Not impressed with the Sach front inserts, they don't seem to be up to the job sadly and had that feeling when I fitted them. The Boge OE ones on the back are superb. I should have taken my own advice and gone with the Bilsteins on the front straight away to compensate for the narrower insert having to cope with the extra weight.

Any info on stiffer S2 standard height or plus one springs would be welcome.

Rusty on S2 forum is looking at getting stiffer springs custom made;

http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49407

Other option is to convert the struts to take coil overs, purely because there is then a wide wide choice of springs in a variety of lengths and stiffness.

Thanks for the link, talks about lowering springs though. I was tempted to go coil overs but saving that expense now for something else.

Going to bite the bullet and swap the inserts again.
