Springs on type 85 quattro...

Hey there guys, bit of a odd question, but would anyone know wether a set of springs from a type85 coupe quattro fit on a b4 80 quattro V6 saloon? It's proberly a silly question I know but my mate has a set of shorter springs that he will give me if they fit

Don't see why not, I've got S2 fronts on mine with standard 90 legs. Bit shorter but stiffer so ride heights not changed.

will def not fit!

At least rears won't, B3/B4 fronts will fit type 85 fronts, but the other way round won't work as the B3/B4 legs have a bigger diameter damper.
