Default Flat Boot Floor?

Since the boot floor on me quattro is a tad bit rotten

Would it be possible to cout out the Rotten part's ( in the dip's either side and make it straight from the lump in the boot floor were the fuel tank sit's?

Obviously the rear slam panel would be gone...and if i could fabricate new bumper mount's that hand down from the "Flat" boot floor?...would there be any effect on the rear subframes?

Anyone else thought about this??..or what would the affect's be?..please tell me if im just speaking shiate!! and man up and get a proper boot floor put back in?

Kind Regards

Ginge
