New car!

Yo!

Well,as mentioned in a couple of other posts today,the 200 wont run at present due to a fuelling problem.
I need a car as an essential part of my daily life,so Salgroom has given me the 100.

Shes a 1990 Alpine White 2.3 SE Auto in stunningly clean condish.
Shes also far more refined to drive than the 200,albeit with less power.

Got a sunroof now too which is good timing,and the MPG should be a little better.

Here she is,Im sure you've seen her before.This time,I have used a random orbital on her with Meguairs Paste (thanks Mart! (Dest) ).
I'll be putting the 200 front lights in her and fitting the rear Heckenziewotsit panel for the number plate.Gutted I cant put the 200's leather in,as the door cards will look dumb with the dash.Bah,I love the velour anyway,its dead snug.Then,she'll get some choice Alpine soundage.Oh yes.

You OK for the rad hose and the VDO clocks at AITP? I suppose you can nick the hose back off the 200 for now.

So your ok for tomorrows strip down at Coxy's then

what are you doing wih the 200 if your transfering bits to Sal's car

by the way Groomzzz. ...... Tipex is cheaper than touch up paint

No,she wont have an MOT until Monday sadly (very!).

A chap is doing the work tomorrow afternoon,which is only cv gaiter,exhaust stuff,handbrake cables and one tyre,but wont be able to MOT it until Monday morning.Hes picking up and delivering too.Im very happy.

However,we (a) Cant make the strip-a-thon and (b) cant go on holiday after that as planned either.

Thanks Al,appreciate you writing that mate,I really do.

Iam so sorry we cant come.This one was a deffo too,as theres always some element of doubt usually,funds yawn yawn!!

And yes,AAN5,she is catless.I need a complete exhaust for her ideally.Its a held together by luck alone system.The chav back box will be replaced by the one off the 200 which is newish.The car originally will have had Ronal Aeros which I will replace with,except with 15s,eventually.
