Default merc

today a friend put me onto a chap selling a 1986 merc 190 16v cosworth , now its a car a never would of given a second glance but i must admit it nearly made me put my hand in my pocket ,anyone know much about them as im thinking strongly

I'd have one tomorrow.
Superb cars. The 2.3 is probably the better driving car over the 2.5.

its colour is gold with just over the hundred thou ,but its immaculate inside and out ,,any idea on value ?? its the 2.3 and he's eager to sell

Depending on condition and history.
they vary a lot. A leggy one can be got for £2500 and good ones cn fetch up to £7-£8k.

Nice motors!

It has self levelling suspension on the rear so you need to make sure it works properly otherwise that will be quite a steep bill
