It's been up for sale several times (or unsellable) in recent years, which, in all seriousness is a shame, for (and you've got to understand true 1980 excess to grasp-the-nettle with this) it is a true one off. It is a Treser quattro (engine mods) and it is a Treser quattro (Cabriolet mods) but it is also a kerscher wide bodykit, one of. And that was one of the very rarest ever supplied, without the Treser bits....
Love it or lothe it, it's probably worth the price-tag....

I'd love to understand this sentiment, but I can't.
![]() It's a fugly old car which would be impossible to repair in the event of a bump. It probably handles like a sack of potatoes and would be thoroughly outclassed in every sense by a 3-series convertible from the same era. If it were worth the price tag it would have sold a long time ago. Best place for it is a museum of curiosities IMO. ![]()

I think it is a definite Marmite job. I personally can't get past the amateurish dash. I just don't get these Treser/Dialynx/Acme quattros. I would sooner have a mint standard car every time. Each to their own and all that, plus if we all liked the same thing it would be a boring world and all that. Sometimes less is more.
