hi there oilman,

my work van is running fuchs titan 0w30 supersyn and i see you stock it!

would it be 'too thin' for things like turbo seals in a 20 year old audi 100? or is it just for new engines? how long does it last also? it says its 'long life'.

i think its 15w40 in the car at the moment.

I wouldn't go for the 0w-30 to be honest, although if the engine has been rebuilt relatively recently, I think it would be fine. If it hasn't been rebuilt, the car may drink it at a bit of a rate and it could work out quite expensive.

I'd go for a 5w-40 or 10w-40

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs Supersyn and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives. As a budget choice, I would either go for the Fuchs XTR, Millers XSS or Motul 6100.

Cheers

Tim
