Just spotted this on Pistonheads. Stone Grey, very low miles, very, very rare car. One for Coxy's collection, perhaps?

That's an early one its not got the black number plate surround, looks nice

Yep, the early D Plate cars (87 Models) came without both the black numperplate surround and the four rings badge on the boot. Love the manual windows on it!

Never liked the square indicator/lights/wiper/hazard stalks either, the rounded ones were lots nicer, but how many more are going appear with this kind of mileage ? not many I bet

Best colour for them as well!

Would be nice to find out the vin number as it's got to be one of the earliest surviving B3 80's around at a guess.

registered 22/5/1987. When did they first come out?

They came out approx Nov 86. I would guess the early press cars etc would have been Oct 86 ish.
