All, anyone got one headlight or maybe both sides for my 1985 CQ Coupe. They are the sloping type, from 84 on I think. Can't see where I am going due to dead reflectors. Were they fitted to any other car other than the coupe?
Cheers, Shaun ![]() |

Hi Shaun
Did mine 18 months ago. If yours is a type 85 is quite simple. Take out the light unit and dismantle. The glass lens will just pop off. I had my reflectors acid stripped, then Copper plate. Then took them to a silver smith and had them silver plated and polished. All in all about £90 a side for the whole process. The only thing you have to do is take off the reflector dish inside once plated get an expert to rivet back on. Hope this helps. Dom
