Default More power for NF engine

Hi,

My 100 quattro has the NF engine, 2.3 (probably a development of the KV).

I have a 100 turbo whole car that I initially wanted to put the engine into.

But time and funds, as well as my ability (as in I'd have to pay someone to swap the engine and wiring over) mean that I won't be going down that route.

Hence, the post for a bit more power out of the 2.3.

Head work by Tony (4V6)?
Different cam?
De cat and better exhaust.

Not looking for big gains, just a bit more power as time and finds permit (it is my daily driver so minimum time off the road is better).

Does anyone sell slightly more performance cams for the NF? ( is it the same as the KV?)

I have a whole spare engine so the work can be done on that head first, then swapped over at the right time.

Cheers,
Steve

Can you take me a photo of the part number on the NF head?

Trying to see if its in the same family as the KV, if so then itll respond very much as per Richards KV head.
Cam upgrade to the same spec as Mr shrick is going to help also.
Exhaust - stands a chance of helping as does cat removal, but only if its restrictive in the first instance....come to think of it, i could probably check that by putting it on the tester and see what the flow loss came to.
