s2 front bumper

i just had a lucky find and got my self a s2 front bumper want to fit it to my 90 saloon its a 1989 model was told it needs slight modding to do with the lights so it looks right what do i need to do

Not much Tim, certain its just the plastic strips under the light that you need.

Have you got the Bullnose Bonnet?

Yes mate. You could get a bonnet off any model, all the same. Or leave yours on if its a flat one but you would have the gap under the grill all the way across. Then a pair of elipsoids!!!!.....You ve started something now!!

keeping the flat bonnet lol so looks like pikey modding is coming out lol / bare intake vent being made lol detons here i come

Early H plate S2s had a strip that goes all the way across. Gets thinner as it goes behind the bonnet but you could mod that and make it thicker perhaps?

The Type89 Coupe, i believe, has the same bumper as s2 but a little less aggressive...

have a look at Kully's 80 he has coupe S2 style front bumper fitted he done it himself

The strip under the lights on mine is the standard one, it fits perfectly,
The bumper corners need to be cut off the old bumper and made to fit to the s2 bumper to mate the wing contours, And the lower line needs to be removed to match the rear bumper with colour combination too
