I think personally it is overpriced. My 100 quattro was £600, and that is quite a clean (and well maintained) car.

The turbo was £250 and the auto was £300 (with MoT), nobody (except me and Lankytim!!!) want these old barges!

It IS overpriced compared to other 100s but if its as good as it looks then its worth the money. Mine cost £75 initially. I must be on £2000 so far and its still not finished!

I wish id gone out and paid £1000 on an absolute minter now.

Still love my 100, even though it sucks.

Mines got a Goof GTI head on and goes ok. No ball of fire but perfectly quick enough. With the old head on it was useless though.

My 100 quattro cost me £600, I have done 25000 miles in it. So far the costs have been mainly service items (MoT, brakes etc.)

Thing is if you paid £1000 for one, who is to say something major wouldn't go the following week?
