I learnt to drive in my mum and dads 1983 Audi 80 GL - it was the car which got me into Audi's. Terrible brakes but great car in most other respects. I remember pulling out in front of a 48 tonne lorry to find the acceleration wasn't quite as good as I thought...trapping a friends fingers in the rear electric window...crashing into the barrier in Waitrose car park with mum and dad in the car...happy days... I think this one is actually a 1.8 but I could be wrong. I wonder if you get the suit case which is in the boot?

damn that looks nicely detailed!!

Love that GL on the bay. Got that very 80's green interior as well!

Someone could get a bargain and I predict a rise in the value of erly base model Audi's between now and the start of the show season next year!
