My CQ will require a service soon. I usually use genuine filters on my cars, so intend to do the same with this one.
Does anybody know the part number for the oil filter for the KV as my ETKA copy has expired (7.2)? Also, I was going to use some fully synthetic 10w40 oil, but have no idea on what brand and weight is popular with 10v NA owners. In my 106 Rallye I use 5w40 Silkolene Pro-S as I only really use it occasionally and on track, but for the CQ, i'd want an oil mainly for the best protection from starting from cold. Any advice would be appreciated. Hoyle. |

Before I go and order some oil, would fully synth be better than semi synth for the engine as it won't break down as quickly?
As you can tell I know very little about oil and properties, so I just want to double check. Hoyle |
