Default Toolbox/Wr/Garage part's wanted

2 scrap or unwanted engine stands (to make a car spit out off) got 1 good one here but that needed for impreza engine rebuild.
1 transformer for tig welder (useless with normal plug),
1 3 pin plug to be attached to welder for a transformer.

Wr quattro front slam panel
Wr quattro rear boot floor.

1 large or 2 small tool chest's.

Recommendation on best place to get new impact sock's, ordinary socket set for general use, torque wrench,6 sided socket's. i Know snap on are the best and most desirable ..but there just to god damn expensive at the moment. . Next best thing?

many thanks

halfords chrome vanadium stuff works fine for me! the ratchets don't last forever but the single hex sockets are fine to be working on one or two cars. i have a halfords torque wrench too, nothing to complain about with it either. i only got them as the place was handy, round the corner from my old house but they still work i spent more/bought higher quality stuff over the years on 'once in a while' kind of tools like easy outs and sump plug kits, cheap versions of things like that work.. once.. if your lucky.. sykes pickavant, for stuff like that is not too expensive but seems to work well.

but now, in the middle of 'no halfords land' its, grab the snap-on van when it comes to the local garage and cough up.

Halfords set is lifetime warranty so you can always get replaced for free....
Your talking Snap On, Blue Point etc if you want more expensive long lasting stuff but you do pay more for them.

I may have a boot floor panel but I'm assessing whether its required for my UR shell work or whether I'm going to fabricate my own to suit my needs. Did have the front slam panel too but think it was creased in one area sadly.

Oddly enough, Halfrauds - especially if they've got a deal on.

(The later 'Professional' range - not the old stuff.)
