why do i worry over nothing

I did cheat as the clocks were already out of the car though, and i also managed not to drop anything

it was the same as yours Gmac, one tiny tooth broken off the cog, had a look for it and it was on the pcb, how did it get there ? unless it was during the taking apart bit.
So all back together with a new cog installed and now waiting for new bulbs for the clocks, BLUE one's

then its back in the car and see what happens !

Oh, i took a photo of the old cog and tooth too.
