Oh something I hadn't mentioned before in the snag list of whats wrong with the car, the drivers side mirror has had a replacement glass in it and the person who did this fixed it in with sikaflex or something similar. It struggles to move, I can hear the motor whining but it seems stuck into position. I didn't notice this for a long while as its the position where I would have had it anyway
