I've used an AJL in mine. It was fitted to B5 A4 quattros 99/00, is a 180bhp engine and is cable throttle. A bumped front full car with some nice seats in it looks to have just gone for less than £500 on ebay and I paid £300 for the first one I broke then £400 for the second. If you intend using the a4 torsen gearbox as I have done then you'll need to alter the gear linkage, the propshaft and fit a ur rear diff not to mention a right old feck around with driveshafts. I don't think you'll suffer the same headaches I was looking at when trying to mate the engine to the cq 'box if yours is a 4potter to start with though, my problem was the fact I took a 5potter out so the 'box was not compatible.
