If the car is intended for just street use, grip will be enough. I once was given a ride in a B2 FWD coupe with KG engine with AAN management with chip - could be around 250-260 bhp - pushed into seats nicely, when accelerating in a straight line, in second gear one wheel was at the edge of grip.
