There are 7 plates that slide to a pre determined level dictated by the key, you need to swap the plates over (there are 4 possibilities for each slot) and you do them one at a time until they sit flush with the key in situ,
You note the number on each plate as you do them and that’s your new plate sequence for all of your locks.
