Default DIY Camper conversion..

So anyone done it!? Just about to embark on Mk 3, Mk 1 and 2 were too small!

Looks a mine field but it's an interesting project to do, all skills at the ready, timber working, electrics, plumbing, going for a solar panel or two this time, and a bog! (wife wants one as the kids stop us every ten minutes when we're on the road.)

Looked at mini busses - void idea, deleted, most of them are too heavy unless I sit another test.

7.5 tonner - void - deleted, unworkable on single track roads and ferries and tolls would kill you! And I'd need another test!

Small Japanese 4x4 campers - nice but over priced and too small and we already tried that one!

Really want a 4x4 base but they're all inflated in the price department these days unless you buy something reallly old, like 1970's old!

Old VWs - Void, too rusty and too predictable.

Will update but may go crafter.

Mk 2 is this thing, (if I can get any image hosting sites to work!) works great and drives up mountains, easier than setting a tent up but just tooo small now... someone could have told me that children stretch over time..
