Default Audi Coupe Gt Front Anti Roll Bar Drop Link Upgrade

Well here I go again, will this upgrade work or not, there is a good chance that I will end in the gravel trap at Forestburn hill climb, anyway looking to reduce the play in the anti roll bar rubber bushes in the wish bone and anti roll bar end eye bush, my thoughts are to remove them and replace them with a drop link like most modern cars have, been looking for a while for the correct drop link and found one that suited my needs, one end needs cut off and m10 thread about 75mm of the drop link rod, then needed to weld a 3mm plate into the wishbone with 10mm hole to fix the ball joint end of the drop link, the anti roll bar fitted to the car is 26mm from a Ur quattro, photo are below, comment are always welcome, not had time to road test yet but after jacking up the suspension strut and rotating the steering wheel nothing seems to hit the new drop link, I do like double nuts rather than nyloc nuts as you will see.
