Just adjacent to the battery is a single pole connector which supplies the pump. The wire goes through the floor just near there.

Of course, directly across the fuse terminals in the fuse box is also valid.
Just be sure to have a suitable rating fused multi-meter.

While you're at it-
I converted mine ages ago, to have a slave relay closer to the pump. The original supply wire controls the relay. The relay switches a fused supply direct from the battery which is now only inches away.
Takes about 15 minutes to do.

Check the quality of the pump connections, too. Mine was pretty ropey.
