I'm going to take you up on that idea, my usual pro plumbers torch is way to powerful for this so thanks for the heads up on the cooks torch.
You would think my brake spanner of 25 years would be useful.Absolutely not in this case!
Getting more luck out of a 11M open ended spanner except on the really bad side where the small mole grips is in order.
