I did add cruise control to my old polo, got an electro-magnet a plate of steel behind the accelerator, to engage it you flicked a switch to energise the magnet which held the accelerator in place, also added a cut off from the brake light circuit for emergencies, was great for driving along the A14 for mile after mile:  |
