but if the new owner doesn't do it straight away (i,e. on the date of sale), then they will be liable for the fine, as in the intervening few days, it is not SORN, and the DVLA are a bunch of (INSERT WORDS HERE).........
So, buy car, get home, SORN on line straight away.......
