U don't need to remove it. I personally think it is there to ensure that hose will be changed sometimes and not for some useful function
B3/B4 [probably B5 as well] has very nice cooling system [I'm not 100% sure about V6 engines] that doesn't require any screws. Just fill it up, force air out of hoses by pressing them until hoses are full, if there still is no heat from heater, rev engine up for some times, or, my favorite way how to do this - driving around with accelerator in floor
- usually heater has enough after 200-300m. Of course, roads and streets here is much worse than in UK, so probably this helps as well
P.S. B3 doesn't have any bleeding screws at all, at least early ones.
